I thought all the dripping colors were blood at first. Then I realized it really was. The saturated pastel colors make this piece one of my favorite drawings. The simple shadows bring a lot of depth into it. No artist info. Via BabyPanda

Back with color
How busy it has been with the pregnancy I could not imagine. It is good to be back to the keyboard with my fingers & the internet with my eyes. This week I am posting recent saves that have striking color.
Stranded
The plasticity of the skin & rich blue in the hair of this self-portrait by Hannah Khymych makes her look almost like a doll. The narrow focus in the fore & midground bring the attention to the glasses & strands of hair. Via the Flickr random photo chooser.
